Karuppu News was founded in 2023 with a single purpose: to hold power accountable in Tamil Nadu. We believe that an informed citizenry is the strongest check against corruption, injustice, and misgovernance.
Our coverage focuses on Right to Information (RTI) filings, High Court and Supreme Court orders, DVAC raids, government accountability, and citizens' rights. Every story we publish is verified by our editorial team before going live.

Karuppu News operates through a network of verified citizen journalists across Tamil Nadu. Every reporter undergoes identity verification (Aadhaar/KYC), professional background checks, and editorial training before they can publish on our platform.
We use a proprietary trust score system to measure accuracy, reporting quality, and editorial standards. Reporters with higher trust scores are given greater editorial independence and faster publication approval.
