Our Verification Sources

We rely on primary and official sources for fact-checking:

  • Government orders (GOs), circulars, and official press releases from Tamil Nadu government
  • Madras High Court and Supreme Court case records and judgment texts
  • RTI responses received from government departments
  • Official statistical publications from Census India, CMIE, and Tamil Nadu Statistical Handbook
  • Parliamentary records from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha official websites
  • Peer-reviewed research and reports from established research institutions
  • Expert opinions from domain specialists (legal, medical, economic) disclosed with their credentials

Fact-Check Process

  1. Identification: A claim is identified as requiring verification by our editorial team or a reporter.
